All of our meat comes from our own herd of traditional British Saddleback pigs. These are black pigs with a white ‘saddle’ around the shoulders. They are renowned for their good nature and excellent mothering abilities.

All our pigs live outdoors all year round. Being free to graze and forage means that they get plenty of natural exercise and a varied diet. Both are recognised as being crucial to producing full flavoured meat.
